Break out the confetti--a match has been arranged between polar bears from Oga Aquarium GAO in Oga, Akita Prefecture, and Kushiro Zoo in Kushiro, Hokkaido. Both sides have agreed that the city of Kushiro will loan the city of Oga a female bear. The likely choice of bride is 6-year-old Tsuyoshi, who caused a stir when she was loaned to Kushiro Zoo for breeding as a male but was discovered to be a female.
